I’m McKenzie! I’m a passionate editor and storyteller who’s living out her dream as a writer in New York City. However, I proudly grew up in the D(M)V and will never let you forget it!

I’m an editor at NBC Insider and Peacock Blog where I create curated editorial content for fans of the brands’ landmark shows. As a passionate reader, I review books whenever I get the chance. You can find my work in People magazine and TODAY.

I was previously the editorial assistant at Oprah Daily, a fellow at Washingtonian Magazine, a member of the New York Times Student Journalism Institute, and a Dow Jones News Funds intern. I aim to channel my pop culture and entertainment obsessions into content that both informs and gives a platform to diverse voices and communities.

Speaking of obsessions? To name a few: Beyoncé, romance novels, reality TV, early 2000s everything… I can keep going? I also love traveling, eating amazing food, and taking too many pictures of my adorable Blue Heeler, Humble.
